By accessing or using BasketPlayer (basketplayer.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

BasketPlayer provides a free, publicly accessible basketball player database for informational purposes. You may:

• Browse, search, and view player and team data
• Share links to individual player or team pages
• Create a free account to follow players and teams
• Use the data for personal, non-commercial research

You may not:

• Scrape or bulk-download data from the site in an automated manner without prior written permission
• Reproduce large portions of the database in another product or service without permission
• Use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

An account is optional and free; everything on BasketPlayer can be browsed without one. With an account you can follow players and teams and see them in My Feed.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep access to that Google account or mailbox secure: anyone who can open it can sign in to your BasketPlayer account.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• Do not create accounts in bulk or automate sign-ins, follows or other account features. We may suspend or delete accounts used for abuse, automation, or in breach of these Terms.
• We only send emails needed to sign you in. Any future notification emails will be optional and off unless you turn them on.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; this immediately removes your email address and follows. If we ever discontinue accounts, we will delete the related data.

How we handle account data, including data received from Google, is described in our Privacy Policy.

We strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, but we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any data displayed on BasketPlayer. Statistics, team affiliations, and biographical information are sourced from public databases and may contain errors or omissions.

BasketPlayer is not affiliated with the NBA, EuroLeague, or any other league or team. Official standings, stats, and records should always be verified with the respective league's official sources.

The BasketPlayer brand, design, and code are proprietary. Player statistics derived from public sources are factual data and not subject to copyright.

BasketPlayer is an independent sports database provided strictly for informational, educational, and non-commercial fan engagement purposes. All team logos, player headshots, league names, and trademarks displayed on this site belong to their respective copyright holders. They are used under fair-use principles solely for player and team identification. BasketPlayer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NBA, EuroLeague, FIBA, or any other professional sports league or organization referenced on this site.

If you are a copyright owner, or an agent thereof, and believe that any content or media on BasketPlayer infringes upon your copyright, please send a written notice to contact (at) basketplayer.com with the specific URL and details of the material in question. We will review and remove or modify the content promptly upon notification.

BasketPlayer offers interactive features, including the "Guess the Career" quiz and its leaderboard. You agree not to exploit, scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated scripts or bots on the quiz, leaderboard, or any database route.

BasketPlayer reserves the right to rate-limit, disqualify, or restrict access for any user or IP address exhibiting malicious, abusive, or automated traffic behavior.

BasketPlayer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BasketPlayer and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the site or its content.

BasketPlayer may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
